firstPRO is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our client’s team in Miami, FL. This role is fully on-site, supporting the launch of a new trading floor in their Miami office. The team will handle desktop support for employees, provide AV support for the trading floor and office, administer enterprise wireless access points, act as local datacenter hands for the networking team, and assist with remote user support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain desktop and mobile environments.
- Serve as remote hands for clients and assist with move/add/changes in Active Directory.
- Manage enterprise wireless access points for client access.
- Provide AV equipment support, including trading floor and office setups.
- Run and manage fiber/copper cabling and assist with server and networking hardware setup.
- Document tickets and actions accurately in a highly regulated environment.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams on project-based work.
- Be flexible to support after-hours and occasional weekend requests.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and supporting the following technologies:
- Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Active Directory user account administration
- Dell desktop and laptop hardware
- iOS mobile devices integrated with Mobile Iron or similar MDM tools
- Microsoft Office and desktop applications
- AV equipment and room setups
- Rack-mounted equipment and cable management
- Enterprise wireless access point systems (preferred)
- Hardware troubleshooting, including NIC cards, optics, and SSD/HDDs
- Running and dressing fiber and copper cabling
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
