firstPRO is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our team. This dual role will involve analyzing business needs, managing projects, and ensuring that IT solutions align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills and project management expertise, driving initiatives from conception through execution.
- Required to gather project and business requirements as it relates to new and existing systems and solutions to be used as a part of the company s information technology software by collaborating with stakeholders and business end users.
- Work with team and stakeholders across all business units and translate business requirements into specific software solutions; review, analyze, and create detailed documents including workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support project decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and process documentation.
- Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus and gather feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide training for end-users on the software the team has created, as required.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and project team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Epicor Prophet 21 knowledge is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT business analysis and project management.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Agile certifications) are a plus.
