Job Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Andover, MA 01810 (Fully onsite)
Compensation: Up to $135K annual salary plus bonus and benefits
Scope of Position / Overview of Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager, will be responsible for maintaining material standards and BOM accuracy.
- Recognize and ensure manufacturing processes meet the criteria set forth
- Support Cost Manager and have the ability to be the spokesperson in his/her absence
- Thorough understanding of Bill of Materials / routings and other supporting documents and their impacts on manufacturing costs
- Assist and participate in the implementation of the new Plating Operation line
- Manage and uphold the integrity of the Cycle Count Program
- Insure inventories are properly valued, including physical inventories and reconciliation of all Supplier Inventory
- Participate in month-end close, SOX Program and any additional projects as deemed necessary.
- Manage E&O Reporting and analysis/setting of Reserves
- Conduct semi-annual physical for inventory locations that do not meet cycle count criteria.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of related cost accounting experience
- Preference for experience with SAP
- Proven ability to work independently with limited daily supervision
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Keen attention to details
- Self-starter with high energy and commitment
- Ability to interact with different levels of personnel, including senior management
Salary : $135,000
