Supply Chain Assistant
5 days a week in-office in Windham, NH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible start and end times available)
Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to join the team in Windham, NH. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Assistant will play a crucial role in coordinating the flow of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries to our various sales channels and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in master planning activities, including procurement support and supplier forecast communication.
- Oversee the transfer of stock between our primary location and other sales platforms (e.g., Ingram, Amazon).
- Manage the scheduling and execution of monthly shipments to the United States.
- Liaise with suppliers to facilitate a smooth transition of goods between distribution center operations and freight forwarders.
- Monitor and follow up on the status of deliveries to the USA through our forwarder.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding the receipt of incoming goods.
- Process freight invoices and invoices from suppliers accurately and efficiently.
- Allocate inventory and freight costs across different sales channels.
- Generate stock lists to support sales activities.
- Assist in the review and reconciliation of stock levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal team members and external clients.
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate master data and create new item codes within our Business Central ERP system.
- Provide general administrative and customer support as needed.
- Track and negotiate freight costs to optimize expenses.
- Coordinate shipments to international customers.
- Contribute to the digitalization and improvement of work processes within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 0 -3 years of demonstrable experience within a supply chain environment.
- Proven ability to negotiate favorable rates while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Proficient user of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; familiarity with Business Central is a significant advantage.
- Strong ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience in demand and supply planning activities within the local market.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure tasks in an efficient and logical manner.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements in work processes.
