Purpose:
The Latitude Margaritaville at Daytona Beach Compliance Coordinator is a key advisor to the General Manager. The role creates value for the Association by conducting regular inspections within the community for compliance to the Association’s Governing Documents and adopted policies & procedures and makes recommendations to the General Manager and Board of Directors for compliance actions and improvements.

Purpose:
The Latitude Margaritaville at Daytona Beach Compliance Coordinator is a key advisor to the General Manager. The role creates value for the Association by conducting regular inspections within the community for compliance to the Association’s Governing Documents and adopted policies & procedures and makes recommendations to the General Manager and Board of Directors for compliance actions and improvements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Operations and Compliance Management:
- Conduct regular inspections of home lots and homes for compliance with Association governing documents, adopted Association policies, and proper completion of approved ACC decisions.
- Assist General Manager to meet with homeowners to educate them on the importance of compliance, provide helpful solutions to meet requirements, and address concerns of corrective actions taken.
- Review Association licensure, permits, and other regulatory requirements for compliance.
- Conduct inspections of Association property and facilities as well as all other on-site facilities to ensure compliance to community standards.
- Recommend violation actions that may arise from damage to Association Property or violation of governing documents or adopted policies.
- Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the General Manager and the Community Association Manager.
- Prepare and complete regular reports of the inspection and compliance process and provide reports to the General Manager and Board of Directors with suggestions for improvement
- Prepare documentation of violations for Board/Committee Member deliberations.
- Meet regularly with the Architectural Control Committee to review applications for accuracy, recording, application decisions, and communicating results of the decision to the homeowner.
- Monitor and record the collection of fines imposed as a penalty.
- Update Use Restriction lists and notify other staff members of any use restrictions resulting from penalty.
- Review and report all breaches of the Use Restriction penalty to the General Manager.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in successful personal service delivery in a customer facing environment.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating compliance variances to standards and policies in a practical environment where ambiguity may exist.
- Demonstrated mastery of business and interpersonal communication practices
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing
- Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time
- Talking on the phone for extended periods of time
- Required to provide valid driver’s license – driving daily will be required.
Compensation/Work Schedule:
- $18.00 per hour
- Part-Time (20-28 hours)
- Monday - Friday, evening & weekend availability
