Job Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing a diverse range of strategic and operational initiatives within the company. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading initiatives from concept to successful execution, ensuring results are delivered efficiently and in a motivating manner. They will support the management and implementation of projects focused on continuous improvement, process optimization, and standardization of systems, technology, and tools, all under the guidance of the Director of Strategy and Innovation - GSS. Your Responsibilities:- Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and documentation. Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Conduct regular updates and reviews with stakeholders. Inclusive of upcoming projects:
- Payment Solutions: Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of third-party payment solutions, including resident, point of sale, and online payments. Oversee secure, efficient transaction processing and stakeholder collaboration.
- Global Accounting Software: Implement global accounting software across markets, ensuring localization, integration, and end-user training.
- Operational Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for technical and operational challenges, driving innovation and efficiency. Support banking conversions and PCard implementation initiatives.
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth system and process adoption.
- Standardization & Process Improvement: Standardize accounting practices across markets and collaborate with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Cross-Market Coordination: Work with regional teams to adapt strategies to market-specific needs while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between internal teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure clear communication.
- Risk & Performance Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Compliance & Standards: Adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards and policies, ensuring high levels of professional and ethical conduct.
- Additional Tasks: Participate in meetings, safety protocols, and special projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering, or a combination of relatable education and experience, and 3 to 5 years working in a project management role
- Project Management certification (PMP or Prince2) is strongly preferred, and/or prior experience leading business process engineering or optimization initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and sense of business operations with a focus on continuous improvement and execution
- Ability to take a deep dive into corporate operations and help establish best practice methods and procedures
- Very high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Office365 strongly preferred
- Prior experience with property management, and/or a Condo/Rental Management license would be an asset
- Prior experience working with a client accounting software would be an asset
