What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead position at Firstsource?
Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Department Manager or Supervisor. You will assist with employee training, answering employees' questions, tracking time / attendance, while maintaining your own assigned workload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversee and direct the daily activities of the production staff for the team to which they are assigned
- Provide daily / weekly account reports to the Department Manager / Supervisor
- Prepare and conduct staff training as needed
- Maintain time and attendance records for staff
- Delegation and inspection of workflows
- Coordinate and / or assume responsibilities for employees during absenteeism, heavy workloads, etc.
- Meet goals and objectives as assigned by management
- Report and document employee disciplinary problems to the department manager
- Assist employees on their team with questions
- Direct the workflow for the team
- Requires 40 hours per week with possible overtime
