About The Team
Corporate Compliance operates within the 2nd Line of Defence and is a part of the FIS RISC organization. Our mission is to promote ethical business practices and to support the Company and its employees in understanding and complying with the laws and regulations applicable to our business, products and services. Led by the Chief Compliance officer, we help the FIS LOBs remain compliant in a fast-changing regulatory environment, we assess controls in place to ensure compliance, and we lead enterprise-wide processes to manage certain regulatory risks such as Privacy, AML, and Code of Ethics compliance.

Sourcing Model

What You Will Be Doing
- Knowledge of how financial markets operate in terms of trading. Experience of UK FCA Client Assets and Conduct of Business Sourcebooks would be a bonus.
- Monitors and communicates regulatory changes that impact FIS products, services and business activities.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Offers guidance on implementing regulatory changes.
- Communicates detailed requirements to LOB, validate solution approach and monitor status.
- Conducts compliance assessments and provides direction on any deficiencies detected by those assessments.
- Monitors LOB compliance activities to verify that regulatory compliance deadlines and requirements are met.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
- 3 years of General Compliance Monitoring/UK market knowledge,
- Good knowledge of FCA rulebook, client asset, UK regulation, transaction monitoring, reconciliation.
- Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques and tools to compliance issues
- Ability to follow and conduct a compliance monitoring program with awareness of its effect on others
- Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
