Production Supervisor – Night Shift

We are currently looking to add a Production Supervisor – Night Shift to our team. This position will play an integral role in overseeing our nightly production operations ensuring our products are made safely while maintaining quality, production efficiency, and meeting production demand. This role is responsible for effectively leading employees in a manner that drives teamwork, communication and effectiveness while fostering development and accountability.

The typical Night Shift production schedule is Monday – Thursday from 8pm to 6:30am with additional production on Friday nights when needed. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility in their schedule to overlap with other shifts for training, communication and collaboration.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree plus 3-7 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with previous experience supervising 20 production staff
• Proven ability building cohesive and collaborative teams
• Ability to solve problems
• Customer-centric focus
• Previous experience in paper converting, packaging, printing or related manufacturing field with a strong mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience working within facilities certified in GFSI, SQF or similar food safety programs
• Bi-lingual Spanish helpful but not required

Responsibilities include:

• Prioritizing and scheduling daily work assignments
• Ensuring new and current employees are trained effectively
• Providing performance feedback including coaching, counseling and disciplinary action as needed
• Continually evaluating processes and methods and recommending improvements
• Acting as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and issues with equipment and machinery
• Ensuring all required production reporting is completed timely and accurately
• Strong written and verbal communication ability

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is $71K-$88k. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
