Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in Industrial Engineering to oversee and optimize our manufacturing and repair operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest quality standards in both production and repair processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing and repair processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Repair Operations Management: Oversee the repair operation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Parts Production Operations Management: Oversee the parts production operation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective parts production and refurbishment supporting new spindle and repair spindle sales, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products and repair services meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs in both manufacturing and repair operations.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at process improvements, cost reductions, and capacity expansions in both manufacturing and repair services.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, production, and repair staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven approaches to identify trends, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, quality assurance, and product development, to align operational goals with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on manufacturing and repair operations.
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
