How Will You Make a Difference?
- Lead annual planning process and develop strategic objectives to build market awareness and achieve revenue growth within assigned practices, growth initiatives, and/or industries, looking at client and market analysis and target client lists.
- Counsel and collaborate with legal staff throughout the business development pipeline to identify client targets and opportunities, prepare for sales conversations, and navigate relationships, liaising with research and competitive intelligence colleagues to conduct market research as appropriate.
- Connect professionals across the firm to encourage collaboration and raise awareness of internal capabilities, relying on your relationships and knowledge of practices, services, industries, market segments, trends, and clients.
- Develop strategy, in coordination with communications and events colleagues, for speaking opportunities, content creation, and earned and owned media opportunities to position attorneys as thought leaders in target markets.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional services marketing and/or business development experience
- Bachelor’s degree (marketing, communications, pre-law, political sciences, business, or related degree preferred)
- Experience managing complex projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders and objectives
- Strong writing and editing skills; strong interpersonal communication skills; detail-oriented
- Ability to work in the office as needed for training and collaboration, no more than 3 days per month.

- Our pay range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $127,871-$186,585 per year.
