Job Summary Fishbeck is seeking an experienced Certified Safety Professional (CSP) to lead our Industrial Hygiene and Safety Services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of driving a culture of industrial hygiene and workplace safety excellence and serving as a trusted consultant for our clients' complex industrial hygiene and occupational safety needs. This role involves performing technical activities, including all methods of air monitoring, work site assessments, employee education and training, guidance on worker occupational safety and health concerns, and abatement techniques for our mostly industrial and commercial clients.
Primary Functions
Minimum Physical Requirements
Will have normal office working conditions and be required to use a computer. Project locations could include heightened noise level, air quality issues, working near moving parts and equipment, and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. While performing duties of this job, the staff member is regularly required to sit, stand, reach, crouch, walk, climb, lift over 40 pounds, and use conventional sampling tools and equipment, while providing health and safety consulting services to a wide variety of clients. Job activities will require the use of respiratory and other personal protective equipment.
Desired Education/Licensure
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or other similarly related program. Possess Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or be able to obtain within one year. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification, a plus.
