Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is required for this position. Direct experience in inspection and quality assurance, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity, is also preferred. Additionally, knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques, quality assurance, technology, and data processing is essential. The ideal candidate will have led the implementation of, or worked in, an ISO certified organization where system maintenance and adherence were part of their job function.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include sitting for long periods, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and occasionally standing, walking, and talking or hearing. The associate may also be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Main Duties:
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop reports to present findings to management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control activities.
