Job Description
\The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including skid-steer loaders, dozers, crushers, and excavators. This includes daily servicing and maintenance of the equipment, as well as setup and tear-down of plants.
Required Skills and Qualifications
\- Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment and ability to perform routine maintenance
- Basic knowledge of welding and cutting torch use
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- MSHA Part 46 and/or Part 48 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and maintain a safe work environment
- Work well in a team environment and have excellent communication skills
