Job Description
The Aggregate Tester is an individual who has demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform, record, and report results of basic field and laboratory procedures for aggregates and soils.
This position covers our Northern Region (North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, & Wyoming). It is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position and includes use of a company vehicle or vehicle lease option.
Primary Duties:
- Collect material samples on job site
- Test material samples to ensure product needs meet specifications for project
- Work with job foreman to ensure material is being produced to required specifications
- Communicate sample results with Fisher Sand & Gravel management and project owner's representatives
- Measure stockpiles
- Assist crew with setup, teardown, and operation of plant
- Prospect for new aggregate sources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Extensive overnight travel
- Good math and computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
