Fishinger Dental is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our team!

Dr. Desai has extensive training and experience in comprehensive dentistry through high-quality continuing education, including implant dentistry, orthodontics, complex rehabilitation, and cosmetic dentistry.
About the Role:
This is a senior position on our business administration team and a perfect growth opportunity for a dental professional with front office experience ready for new challenges and to provide leadership. The Treatment Coordinator is an advocate for the patient, demonstrating strong knowledge of dental insurance with an ability to communicate cost of care to the patient prior to scheduling an appointment. We provide our patients with an exceptional visit at each appointment. This position:
· communicates positively and supportively with each patient to our office in a friendly manner, answers appointment questions.
· presents treatment plans and ensures cost of care is communicated while scheduling visits to our office.
· completes the patient check out process, collecting estimated patient portion at day of service, scheduling next visit.
· responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling for all providers, and ensuring a complete patient registration process including insurance verification.
· communicates with the entire dental team and responds to support requests with an appropriate level of urgency to ensure the best possible patient care.
· supports and mentors our business team and provides as a back-up to their duties, as needed
Treatment Coordinator Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the dental field in a front office position and familiarity with dental terminology
- Experience with dental insurance: benefits eligibility/verification, claim submission, and claim resolution
- Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to listen to patients and advocate for them
- Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person
- Computer proficiency
- Maturity and Professionalism
- Attentive, Patient-Oriented attitude
- Effective in multi-tasking and flexibility with strong organizational skills
Practice Hours: Mondays 8am – 6pm, Tuesdays - Thursdays 8:00am - 4:30pm, One Friday per month 8 am -1 pm
