Overview
The Church Administrator is to provide secretarial, financial, and administrative services to the Pastor, other church staff, Board of Deacons, and Session members as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Perform office administration and secretarial roles, including, but not limited to:
-Preparing documents
-Ordering supplies
-Making calls to congregants and ministry partners
-Sending churchwide and specialized emails
-Managing church social media
-Maintenance of the church calendar
-Maintenance of church records, including financial documentation
-Act as disbursing treasurer for the church, paying bills and payroll
-Other duties as assigned
-Regular office presence 9am-1pm Tuesday through Friday for the purposes of receiving calls, packages, and visitors to the church.
Qualifications
This position requires interpersonal skills, initiative, and facility with technology including Google suite, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and a willingness to learn additional programs as necessary.

This position involves the handling of financial and personal information that is highly sensitive and strictly confidential. The administrator must maintain such information in confidence, taking such steps as are necessary and prudent to safeguard it, and not discuss or use such information in any way either during or after the term of service.
Role
This position will report to the Pastor as head of staff, and according to Presbyterian polity, is ultimately responsible to the Session of the Church as the representatives of the congregation.
