Overview:
As Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, compliance, and preparation. You will stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely filings for individual and corporate clients. Additionally, you may be involved in providing tax-related guidance to clients, conducting tax research, and assisting with other tax-related projects. With this position, there is a 3-5 year track established to guide the successful candidate toward becoming a partner.

What You Will Do:
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely filings for individual and corporate clients.
- Provide tax-related guidance to clients
- Conducting tax research
- Assisting with various tax-related projects.
- Representing the company in tax-related matters
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Supervise and mentor junior staff – manage approximately 5 direct reports.
What You Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required – Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and/or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
- 6 years of general accounting experience required.
- Work experience with the “Big Four” firms is helpful, but not necessary.
- Demonstrated skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation
- Ability to monitor and execute within Tax Compliance and Tax Law
- Working knowledge of tax regulations and best practices
- An entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation:
- $100,000 - $130,000
- Final offer of compensation to successful candidates will depend on qualifications and experience.
- Salary beyond listed range may be offered to candidates who enter the firm with their own LLC and/or Book of Business.
