What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Specialist/front desk receptionist position at Fit For Life Physical Therapy?
This is an hybrid position working both as a front desk medical receptionist and as an exercise specialist.
Our Exercise Specialists work alongside, and under the direction, of our Physical Therapists. The primary responsibility is working with patients through their exercise/rehab programs consisting of strength, flexibility, and range of motion exercises.
Your time spent at the front t desk will involve scheduling patients, answering phones, collecting co-pays etc. It can get busy, so you must be able to multi task.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC OR ARE AN APK, ATHLETIC TRAINING or have similar college major.
Working as an Exercise Specialist will require being knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, athletic training or some combination of these areas. It is important to have excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, be able to multitask, and above all care about the patients you will be working with.
This is an excellent position for someone that has recently graduated in APK, Exercise Physiology, or Athletic Training. It is also a fantastic opportunity for anyone taking a gap year and considering applying to Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant or Med School programs.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
