What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Fit Recruiting, Inc.?
Fit is seeking an Accounting Manager to perform traditional cost accounting duties such as gathering historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.), fully understanding the cost accounting system, comparing budgets with actual expenses, as well as daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Responsibilities :
- Manages AR and AP through external customer and internal portals and software
- Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Evaluate performance by comparing and analyzing results with budgets and forecasts
- Identify and drive improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports
- Works closely with production leadership to establish and maintain production standards
- File all local business and property tax returns
- Coordinate with HR Director for Time Reports
- Manage Credit Card purchases and payments to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Directly manage one accounting person and one inventory control person
