Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance with financial accounting standards. The Accounting Manager will also perform traditional cost accounting duties such as gathering historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses, etc.), fully understanding the cost accounting system, comparing budgets with actual expenses, as well as perform daily duties in an AR -AP function to post all activities in the ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the WMS (Walmart System) and our ERP (NetSuite) software control system.
• Manages AR and AP through external customer and internal portals and software’s.
• Liaison with Inventory control clerk for weekly Shrink and Inventory adjustments based on analysis of Work Orders, receipts and issuance of Materials and correct and adjust the discrepancies.
• Perform financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Evaluate performance by comparing and analyzing results with budgets and forecasts.
• Identify and drive improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Works closely with production leadership to establish and maintain production standards to eliminate Walmart OTIF and SQEP charges.
• Work closely with plant management reviewing results.
• Effectively maintain working relationships and partnerships with cross functional areas.
• File all local business and property tax returns.
• Produce Daily Flash Reports for Company KPI’s.
• Coordinate with HR Director for Time Reports.
• Liaison with Warehouse regarding shipments, BOL, etc. for invoicing and ASN’s
• Manage Credit Card purchases and payments with personnel on site as well as online to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Go to online sites to pull bills to enter for Credit Card.
• Directly manage one accounting person and one inventory control person.
