Engagement Coordinator

SUMMARY 

The Engagement Coordinator assists in establishing and maintaining business relationships with clients by providing support to the assigned Engagement Manager. The Engagement Coordinator maintains a relevant understanding of clients’ roadmap, goals, and objectives, and proactively manages their assigned tasks, tickets and to do items. The Engagement Coordinator will work to develop a full understanding of FIT’s products and services and work to develop the ability to effectively communicate those offerings to clients.     

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Aid the assigned Engagement Manager with account management tasks including:  
  • Review of monthly invoices to ensure accuracy.  
  • Update CRM with project and service opportunities and contracts.  
  • Contract renewal management.  
• Support the Engagement Manager in leading, preparing, and executing on the strategic IT roadmaps for clients including:  
  • Initiating the proposal scoping process.  
  • Building new service agreements and contracts.  
  • Preparing documentation for internal project meetings.  
  • Assist with preparation of client engagement and strategy meetings.  
  • Provide support in execution of product demonstrations, presentations end user training.  
• Participate in interdepartmental project planning including:  
  • Assist with the management and coordination of client onboarding tasks.  
  • Lead special projects as requested for the Engagement Team and leadership team, as requested. 
      

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• Preferred 1-3 years’ experience working in customer service, project management, sales support, or client services.   
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team atmosphere.  
• Demonstrated ability to organize and accomplish tasks successfully.  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required. 
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision. 
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment and the ability to adapt to an evolving environment.  
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed on FIT or client networks and obtained through client relationships.   
• Bachelor of Arts or Science or equivalent work experience.  

WORKING CONDITIONS REQUIREMENTS 

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer screen 
• Occasional local travel to events and/or to various client sites for meetings.   
• Reliable transportation to our office in Downtown Cleveland and/or to occasional offsite events or meetings
• Occasional evening and weekend work for meetings or other special events
