About the Role:
As the Business Excellence and Strategy Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our Business Excellence System for Terminals (BEST). You will lead strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement—all while aligning operations with global best practices and long-term sustainability goals.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage multiple strategic initiatives and projects across departments.
- Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of BEST.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and develop strategy deployment plans.
- Establish performance metrics and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
- Facilitate change management training and foster a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including port authorities and global terminals.
- Conduct audits and benchmarking into operational strategy.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Maritime Logistics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in Project Management, Business Excellence, Strategy, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Leadership within the port terminal industry.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong Lean experience applied in Logistics or related environment.
- Statistics experience developing and running data models (preferred).
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Authorized to work in the US, no visa sponsorship at this time.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Office-based with regular field visits required
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and environment
- Use of PPE required; rotating on-call schedule and occasional travel expected
