Description
The Human Resources Representative provides a wide range of Human Resources functions including employee relations, HRIS, and training support.
Requirements
Core Competencies:
- Bi-Lingual Candidate highly preferred (English & Spanish)
- Strong organizational and follow through skills.
- Ability to build rapport with employees and leadership.
- Knowledge of HR laws and compliance

Technical Competencies:
- Competent in math and analytical skills.
- Human Resource experience including HR policies, employment law and recruiting.
- Knowledge of payroll/salary and benefits administration.
- Excellent computer skills - proficiency in the use of PCs and the Microsoft Office family of products.
- Ability to manage confidential information, HIPAA certified.
- Proficient with HRIS software.
HR/Payroll Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point person/resource for all HR related issues and concerns, including benefit issues, employee relations.
- Interpret, implement and enforce Fitesa employment policies & procedures.
- Maintain current role descriptions for all plant positions.
- Coordinate various employee recognition programs (ie: service awards, birthdays).
- Coordinate on the annual Open Enrollment benefits activities.
- Develop and maintain training plan and training records for the facility.
- Maintain all plant personnel and medical files. Monitor plant bulletin boards and mandatory employment posters.
