Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team. The Purchasing Coordinator works closely with plant staff, corporate personnel, suppliers and teams to improve Fitesa's overall cost position.

Requirements
- Process approved requisitions into purchase orders for non-strategic plant-level maintenance, repair and operations (MRO ) products and services.
- Coordinates with the Integrated Planner and Purchasing Associate Buyers on strategic material orders to minimize working capital.
- Works with the Purchasing Managers to implement strategic purchasing initiatives.
- Conduct local competitive bidding for repetitive goods.
- Identify opportunities to improve transaction processes such as Internet based procurement, purchasing cards, etc. in order to reduce cost.
- Lead or participate on Supplier Teams to enhance supplier relationships.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associates Degree preferred but not required
- Two plus years experience in purchasing
