Location: Sandburg Pools (Managed by FFC Old Town)

Job Type: Seasonal (March 2025 through October 2025)

Compensation: $23-25/hour plus potential bonus opportunity on the completion of the full season

What You’ll Do:

As the Swimming Pool Manager, you will be the heart of ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our members, guests, and staff. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing pool operations, maintenance, and cleanliness, ensuring an outstanding experience for everyone who visits.
• Monitoring water chemistry daily to ensure optimal safety, making adjustments as needed.
• Leading a team to keep the pool and surrounding areas looking great, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all areas.
• Completing regular preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to keep everything running smoothly.
• Engaging with members, addressing concerns, and fostering a welcoming environment.
• Assisting with lifeguard duties, payroll, staff scheduling, and registration.
• Coordinating with housekeeping to maintain a pristine facility, indoors and out.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-4 years of lifeguard experience, including up-to-date certifications.
• Knowledge of pool operations, chemical balancing, and basic mechanical systems.
• Previous experience in aquatics management and leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you're a natural when it comes to engaging with others!
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing or walking for extended periods, and general physical activity.

Our Commitment to Hospitality: FFC offers a robust training program mandatory for all employees to attend. The training includes multiple hospitality courses to be completed during your first 90 days. Your manager will go over your role specific training and dates upon hire.
