Position Overview
The General Manager (GM) of YogaSix’s pre-sales studio is responsible for spearheading all aspects of studio operations before its official opening. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive membership sales, build community engagement, and establish a high-performing team. The GM will implement marketing strategies, oversee daily operations, and ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to full operation. Success in this role means exceeding membership goals, fostering brand awareness, and laying a strong foundation for long-term studio success.
This position offers flexibility within non-traditional hours, including occasional early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a goal of reaching 40 hours per week. As the studio approaches its opening date, scheduling will adjust to align with pre-sale activities. While the GM has some control over their schedule, it must support business objectives and studio needs. Strong time management, consistency, and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining efficiency. The GM should leverage a skilled team, balance workload effectively, and adapt their schedule to engage with members and staff as studio demands evolve.
Responsibilities
- Drive Membership Sales: Lead pre-opening sales initiatives, build excitement in the community, and hit membership goals before launch.
- Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and motivate staff, ensuring they deliver an exceptional member experience.
- Execute Marketing Strategies: Implement local grassroots marketing, social media outreach, and partnerships to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Deliver an Outstanding Member Experience: Foster a welcoming environment that aligns with YogaSix’s mission and values.
- Oversee Studio Operations: Manage daily operations, financial performance, and business growth to ensure a successful launch and long-term sustainability.
