Job Title: Dispatcher Motor Vehicle

Job Description:
The Dispatcher, Motor vehicle Task includes the assignment of motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of freight or passengers, and compiles lists of available vehicles.:
- Performs dispatching and allocation of available vehicles
- Verifies vehicle request and driver qualification and licenses
- Maintains list of available vehicles, dispatched vehicles, and vehicle reservations
Experience Requirements:
- A good working knowledge of associated Army Logistic Information Systems and dispatching procedures for Ft Riley Transportation Motor Pool
- An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced
- Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
- Must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment, background and drug screening checks related to the position
- Must be able to attain/maintain access to Fort Riley Kanas
- Valid state driver's license
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility.
