Job Description:
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a strong working base and knowledge of Global Combat support System-Army (GCSS-A) as or equivalent to the skill set of the MOS 92Y, level 3 or 4
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as monthly inventory of sensitive and non-sensitive items, inventory and induct of CL II items from units, prepare shipment documentation, and supply reports.
- Establish and maintain automated and manual records, posts receipts and turn-ins in GCSS-A, and perform due-ins and due- outs for items on-hand or waiting to be shipped
- Observe, review, verify, and validate Supply Technicians packets, inventory, and packaging of items, along with paperwork for shipments or inventories
- Assign workloads to Supply Technicians and ensure tasks are completed within set deadline
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, bill of material, Funds Verification and Use Authorization requests, and shipping documents/labels.
- Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming CL II from units
- Prepares production report based on Data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats and governing rules, regulations and policies
- Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies as required.
- Performs monthly inventories of sensitive and non-sensitive items, IAW established procedures.
- Retrieves and analyzes historical and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
- Assists Supervisor reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
- Processes Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and track such materials until resolved.
- Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required.
- Assists Supervisor with schedules work based on established guidelines and priorities in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and policies
- Assist within the department as directed by the Manager or Supervisor
- Maintain workstation and department area in a highly professional manner and appearance
- Performs other duties assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92Y level 3 or 4.
- Experience with Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW) and Unique Item Tracking (UIT).
- Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary applicable data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon proven applications or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using GCSS-A
- Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
- Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at 10 feet above ground limit
- Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Basic requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
- Ability to pass a post offer drug screen clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
- Valid state driver's license
- GCSS Army Certified
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
