Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Maintain a FOH focus, working to give guests a five star experience every time,
- Collaborate with the chef on menu creation and execution of private dining events
- Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staff performance and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring processes for front-of-house staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance overall dining experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining or casual dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management practices.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails bar recipes and bartending
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high service standards.
- Experience in interviewing and training staff members is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and quality food.
