Overview
The Production Manager will be responsible for achieving gross profit goals and revenue goals related to production capacity through overall management of field operations including field personnel, field productivity, scheduling, quality control, safety management and equipment inventory/ maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the mission statement; specifically: customer satisfaction measurement; scheduling, reporting, job planning, job leadership, standards and procedures, invoicing and collections, job staging workflows and crew lead benchmarking.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of getting jobs done through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and other business functions
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Oversee and manage overall operational budget(s)
- Regular meetings with management team and crew leads around goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supervise and coach department personnel, crew leads and painters daily
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong background and work experience in the painting or related industry
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, and outlook
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of materials used in the painting industry and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
- Budget development and oversight experience
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
