Five Below Summer Internship Program is ON! Our limited open positions for Summer 2025 focus on company strategic initiatives in the exciting environment of value-driven, fun-focused retail. Location :
In conjunction with WoWToWN’s current Ways of Working, we intend to offer a hybrid program for our interns, ensuring both a flexible and immersive experience. All applicants should plan to be in the Philadelphia area and access to our Home Office throughout the entirety of the program.
Internship Details :
10 weeks : June 2nd – August 8th
Full time – 40 hours / wk
Paid – $17 / hr
Greater Philadelphia location – on site / office requirements vary by internship position but should be generally considered hybrid. On average, an intern can expect to be in our home office 3 times per week.

Project Details :
Within this platform is a new 'Project Financial Management' module that will require a new operational process to review, approve, and assign project costs to their correct projects / locations before capitalizing the assets / projects and pushing to the 'Fixed Assets' module (the next step in the financial close process).
Review invoices in Projects : Ensure each invoice that is coded to the Oracle Fusion Project Module is accurately coded based on the project guidelines provided from Corp FP&A. If discrepancies are found, send back to the business partner for corrections.
Task-level Review : Ensure that asset costs are correctly assigned to each task within the project. The invoice will need to be coded to a project and a task within the project. This will also be based off FP&A guidance.
Weekly payables processing : Each week, pull invoices from payables into projects module and verify that project amounts are accurate and aligned with expectations. Doing this weekly rather than only at month end, will ensure a timely and efficient month end close process for Fixed Assets.
Allocations support : Assist with fixed asset allocations from warehouse accounts to new store / existing projects ensuring accurate project costs for new store performance and existing store initiatives. Similar to our allocations process now, this can be done on a weekly basis once the invoices have been moved from Projects to FA subledger. This individual will have to work with 3rd party vendors and business partners to obtain accurate allocation information.
Requirements :
Must be actively enrolled as a rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad pursuing or with an Accounting degree.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited
Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!
Desired Skills :
Strong Communication skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Proficient in Excel, including advances functions such as VLookup, pivot tables and data analysis tools.
Capable of handling large datasets and complex spreadsheets
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Retail experience a plus
