Job description:
Seeking youth between the ages 18-26 interested in Behavioral Health and Sexual Health to mentor and support young people living in our community!
Five Horizons Peer Mentors are responsible for advocating behavioral health care, HIV/STI testing; engaging in campus recruitment for testing and education initiatives; assisting potential patients with appointment-setting; arranging transportation as necessary; providing follow-ups for students who engage in care; assisting with outreach events (i.e., tabling); disseminating information to various student groups and individuals across each campus; and co-facilitating HIV and STI education sessions. As a Peer Mentor you will also be sharing your own knowledge and experience to help others live healthy, happy and confident lives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
