Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to keep the dining area tidy.
- Help with food preparation as needed, supporting cooks and culinary staff during busy service times.
- Participate in cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
- Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Skills
- Experience in food handling or working in a restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
