Requirements

What you should bring to the table:

  • Expert understanding of LAN / WAN technologies – Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki and HPE Aruba experience preferred
  • Experience with various server, networking, and SAN hardware technologies
  • Azure deployment and networking skills are strongly recommended
  • Expert understanding of Meraki, Cisco Catalyst and/or Aruba Wireless Access Point solutions
  • Experience with SSLVPN and Site to Site VPN deployments
  • Experience with deployment of Zero Trust Network solutions (CloudFlare Warp or similar)
  • Experience with web filtering solutions (DNSFilter, Cisco Umbrella or similar)
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced network incidents, ensuring minimal down time.
  • Recognize potential roadblocks and solution with the client and service team to remove them.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues involving network infrastructure, wireless solutions, firewalls, switching and related services.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service, perception, and satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills: including telephone, written, relationship building, and presentation skills
  • Ability to present oneself in a professional & personable manner in a client-facing position
  • High-level problem solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Impeccable work record required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Networking or equivalent work experience
  • Major industry certification (CCNA, CCNP, or comparable) is desired or relevant work experience
  • 5 years of experience in related role
  • 2 years of previous customer service experience
  • WLAN design/Ekahau experience preferred
  • Fortinet/Fortigate experience preferred
  • Cisco routers, switches and firewall experience

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Cisco, Meraki and/or Fortinet
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a variety of network issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide high-level customer service
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2022/2019
  • VOIP experience
  • Experience with Meraki networks and Aruba
  • Wifi surveying and planning (Ekahau)
