Your Impact as a Junior Human Resources Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Support HR Operations: Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance across multiple facilities.
- Assist with Recruitment & Onboarding: Help coordinate hiring efforts, review applications, and conduct new hire orientations.
- Provide HR Guidance: Assist facility leadership with employment policies, contracts, and compliance.
- Coordinate Training & Development: Help conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support Employee Relations: Help mediate workplace concerns, assist with disciplinary actions, and support employee recognition initiatives.
- Maintain HR Records: Ensure accurate and confidential management of personnel files, databases, and payroll documentation.
- Prepare Reports & HR Metrics: Compile HR data and assist in preparing presentations and reports for management.
- Ensure Policy Compliance: Interpret and apply company policies and state/federal employment laws.
- Assist in Employee Engagement Initiatives: Organize employee events and recognition programs to enhance workplace culture.
- Perform Administrative Support: Assist with HR correspondence, data entry, and other office-related tasks as needed.

- Has a minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Is eager to learn and grow within the HR field.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information.
- Can work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Vietnamese preferred.
- Can travel between facilities as needed.
