Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Network Engineer with Project Management expertise to lead and manage network projects within our nuclear facility in Point Beach, WI. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background and the ability to lead and manage IT and network projects within our nuclear facilities. This role requires a candidate with a "bulldog" mentality who ensures that teams are held accountable and remain focused on project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage network projects within the nuclear facility, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Hold nuclear IT teams accountable for meeting project milestones and deliverables, maintaining a high level of performance and efficiency.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all network infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments as needed.
Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Maintain and improve network security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network engineering and project management.
Strong technical background with expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience managing complex IT and network projects.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to work unescorted in the nuclear facility.
U.S. citizenship required.
