What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. IT Technical Project Manager position at Five Rivers IT Inc.?
The candidate must have a very strong personality and be able to handle complex multi-tower coordination and planning with different stakeholders and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with On-prem data center infrastructure and AWS infrastructure teams to collaborate and review overall architecture dependencies for major program like PROJECT application to drive milestones to completion
· Continue to review PROJECT application architecture and its dependencies to build a serial and parallel tasks to make sure all project milestones are met on time and under budget
Infrastructure Technology Oversight
1. Build an executable project plan mapped to PROJECT key milestones in collaboration with PROJECT sponsors and coordinate tasks to completion with necessary stakeholders that were identified as service providers from infra and enterprise systems
2. The PM with work with identified sub-teams to review and understand their processes and coordinate tasks appropriately. This resource embedded within PROJECT will be able to identify overlaps, and mitigating potential conflicts between the teams with the support from PROJECT sponsor. This helps to maintain project momentum and avoid delays.
3. Document service execution processes delivering PROJECT projects for each milestone to completion
Infrastructure Risk Assessment and planning
1. PM will proactively review architecture, design documents for resiliency posture for infra, security components and collaborate with necessary stakeholders to gain agreements with corresponding platform teams to mitigate risks.
2. PM will help coordination, prevent siloed communication, and ensures that interdependencies are managed effectively from infrastructure standpoint documenting identified the risks and engaging right stakeholders to address risks to closure
Infrastructure Integration activities
1. the PM will coordinate infrastructure aspects of the PROJECT program in a proactive manner with the understanding the technical intricacies and challenges related to the infrastructure components, enabling more informed decision-making for end-to-end integration requirements.
2. Collaborate with the team and handle daily request systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow Incident / Request Queue on a periodic basis to make sure fulfillment processes are complete on time
Skillsets and Experience Needed
Technical Skills:
Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of network, firewall, cloud computing, cyber security, and enterprise architecture.
· Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar).
· Integration Expertise: Experience in integrating various systems and platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Cisco, and AWS services.
· Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate technical and security risks associated with large-scale IT projects.
Experience:
· Relevant Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in IT project management, with significant experience in infrastructure projects within large organizations.
· Large-Scale Projects: Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-year infrastructure modernization programs.
· Cross-Functional Team Management: Experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, involving multiple sub-teams with distinct processes.
· Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, cybersecurity experts, enterprise architects, and business leaders.
Soft Skills:
· Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey project status, issues, and risks to all stakeholders.

· 15 years of experience in Technical Program Manager rolling out large enterprise business applications
· Previous experience in the energy sector or related industries.
· Knowledge of Datacenter Compute, VMware, Cisco, Storage and AWS
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
· Document infrastructure tasks aligned to phases of PROJECT program
· Review design documents and provide recommendations for update to designs
· Provide infrastructure integration dependencies for PROJECT rollout
· Recommendations for addressing gaps in risk/resiliency posture
· Engage in retrospective sessions to adjust on planned execution.
· Assist in creation of transition to operations (TTO) documentation for infrastructure
