Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Category Analyst to work closely with vendors and outside partners. In this role, you will develop and manage planograms, pricing strategies, and category insights to enhance our market competitiveness. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to create effective planograms that align with consumer trends and company goals.
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and performance metrics to develop strategic pricing models.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to guide decision-making.
- Support category management by conducting gap analyses and identifying growth opportunities.
- Monitor product performance and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements and category strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in category management, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with other analytical tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
