Office Administrator, a Southern Home Services Company, is looking for a dynamic Office Manager to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Trains and monitors Customer Service Specialists, their performance and activities to meet/exceed booking rates and inbound/outbound phone call activity (ACD) service levels.
· Team Leadership: Supervise, train and mentor the accounts receivable specialist team.
· Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular review of work product.
· Invoice Processing: Monitor invoicing performance of the AR team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing according to company best practices.
· Assist team members with resolving systemic challenges or complicated invoicing matters
· Collections management: Monitor overdue accounts and implement collections strategies.
· Collaborate with branch management, sales staff, and back-office personnel to resolve disputes.
· Account Reconciliation:
· Collaborate with staff accountants and Controller to ensure AR subledgers are reconciled to general ledger.
· Investigate and resolve issues related to payment application, adjustments, and errors.
· Process improvement and relationship management:
· Identify opportunities to streamline the AR processes and collaborate with cross functional teams
· Perform weekly payroll and assure all state/local/and company policies are followed
· Make timely deposits and assure AR aging report is up to date and addressed as needed.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1-year of supervisory or management experience in an office setting is required
· Ability to easily cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers
· Find it rewarding to organize, prioritize and manage time effectively to see a task through to completion
· Work well independently & with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment
· Enjoy patiently, empathetically helping others
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
