Overview: The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a vital role in managing and maintaining accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Excel. Experience using Bill.com is a plus.

YOUR PROFILE

· Knowledge of Accounting Principles

· 2 years of Professional Experience in Accounting

· 2 years of Experience with QuickBooks Online

· Experience of Excel

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable

· Create/maintain vendor record including contact info, W9, etc....

· Enter and classify vendor bills

· Reconcile all vendor statements and manage all vendor inquiries

· Obtain approvals from authorized persons for disbursement

Reconciliations

· Apply payments to vendor bills daily

· Communicate payment discrepancies to vendors as needed

· Ensure aging is up to date, credits are applied, misc. differences accounted for

Reporting and Teamwork

· Prepare accounts payable reports weekly

· Provide updates on work and status on ongoing issues

· Support other accounting and finance team members as needed
