Daycare Director

Job Overview
Must be Director Qualified by DCFS standards with signed transcripts of approved credentials.

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their well-being while fostering their development through play and structured activities.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Provide infant care including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
• Observe children’s behavior and development to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.

Experience

• Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with infant care practices and toddler care routines is essential.
• Experience in behavior management techniques is beneficial.
• Background in preschool education or classroom settings is a plus.
• A genuine love for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
