The Opportunity
The Scheduler works under supervision of the Executive Director as the primary point of contact for day-to-day scheduling for the Operations team. The Scheduler strives to ensure all shifts are covered, paid time off requests are entered, and shift changes are maintained to ensure the community meets daily organizational requirements and goals. This position must maintain a high-level of confidentiality and professionalism, be highly efficient at planning, and managing daily administrative tasks with prompt and thorough follow through with attention to detail. The Scheduler demonstrates exceptional, team centered customer service, and uses excellent time management and organizational skills to perform scheduling requirements for the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize scheduling platform to fill empty shifts and maintain daily schedules, approve shift overtime, part- time, and special events, assign permanent vacancies, maintain current job profiles, and shift requirements.
- Review schedules with community leaders daily to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule
- Responsible for implementing schedules which comply with regulatory staffing requirement
- Manage schedule access and visibility in OnShift to ensure that team members can always retrieve their schedules at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Ensure reduction of outside agency use through diligent scheduling.
- Utilize payroll system to assist with biweekly payroll requirements for payment processing.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders on schedule planning and shift fulfillment.
- Approve and assign PTO requests or PTO payment in accordance with company policy.
- Promptly and courteously communicate with manager regarding department scheduling needs and/or issues
- Promptly and courteously communicate with staff regarding any scheduling needs such as shift openings or opportunities.
- Prepare weekly staffing charts for department distribution.
- Compose reports or presentations as requested.
- Exercise discretion and judgement when dealing with sensitive personal matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Valid, unrestricted CNA certification or State/Local equivalent required
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide
Salary : $34,200 - $43,300
