We are currently seeking a T & T Operator, who has the desire to prove that
industry can do it!
Job Content
At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your
role will be to :
Understand the wide variety of sizes, formulations of wheels and
tolerance requirements as spelled out on Shop Routing and Standard
operating procedures.
Determine correct speeds and feeds and select the correct tooling to
true wheel.
Determine number of passes required, (will vary depending wheel
hardness and specifications), and dress the OD, ID and face to
specifications.
Speed test wheel at the required RPM's indicated on the routing
ticket and enter required information into data logger.
Using various measuring instruments (i.e. micrometer, caliper, etc.),
ensure the finished wheel fulfills the specifications.
Other duties as assigned.

- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Manual dexterity required for operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle up to 50 pounds required.
