Job Description
The ideal candidate will be a “people person” with an ability to work independently and in a team environment and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers. The position requires a willingness to learn and be flexible. The warehouse manager should be proactive, innovative, and analytical with a sense of urgency to strive towards operational success. Position will include leading a warehouse team, load trucks, scheduling, directing shipments, and resolving logistical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Create conceptual plans in AutoCAD
- Create working construction drawings in AutoCAD
- Design custom casework and millwork fixtures based on architectural prints and specifications.
- Collaborate with shop foreman and project managers to design requirements, issues, resolve RFIs, and ensure project alignment.
- Work and report directly to the shop foreman.
- Support carpenters during fabrication and installation process.
- Program CNC machines for part productions.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2021 or later
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CAD drafter/designer.
- CAD certificate, college courses, or engineering degree is not required, but highly desired.
- Previous experience with a countertop or cabinet/millwork company is a plus.
- Previous experience with Router-CIM software preferred but not required.
- Candidate must be mechanically inclined.
- Proficient in computer skills and quick to learn new software.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and eager to take on additional responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
