Director, Marketing

Fjell is a fast-growing wealth management firm located in Fargo, ND with clients across the country. The mission of Fjell is to create freedom for clients through asset management and financial planning. We’re constantly looking to increase the value of how we serve clients and a part of this is the quality and consistency of communication with them. This also includes building trust with our target market of high net worth families across the US.

The Position:

The Director, Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for designing and executing marketing strategies that clearly communicate timely information to clients while also attracting high-net worth families to Fjell. This is a dynamic role that requires strategic thinking and consistent execution. The ideal candidate marries brand, social media and email marketing together to impact the lives of our clients and audience with tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Strategy: With a working lead funnel in place, developing better strategy’s for client conversion that aligns with Fjell’s goals and values.
• Podcast Production and Growth: production, editing and shipping our weekly podcast, Laminate Money and working to grow the weekly audience.
• Email Marketing: Driving growth and conversion with our 16,000 industry-leading newsletter, Tired & Rich, and strengthening client trust through our weekly client email communication.
• Content Creation: creating social media strategies and content production on LinkedIn, FB, and Instagram.
• Collaboration and Leadership: this is a collaborative, fast paced role where you will work with both our Fargo Based team and various contractors around the country.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate would have At least 3 years of experience in Marketing in a leadership role. Experience in high-end professional services is a plus.

Skills (Required):

• Strong writing skills
• Understanding and experience with design and editing tools (Adobe and Figma)
• Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms we use (Google, Zoom, Notion, Beehiiv, Mailchimp, Zapier, Calendly, Meta, and LinkedIn)
• Experience with Meta Ads Manager, as well as other ad platforms
• Strong Analytical skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

What We Offer:

• Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000, based on experience
• Performance: Up to 20% of Base Salary.
