Position Summary:
Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversite of comprehensive marketing plans for all of Leech Lake Gaming managed properties. Ensures the effective execution of marketing driven strategies across all channels, including traditional and digital media, with a focus on maximizing brand visibility, revenue growth, and the overall customer experience.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and mentor the marketing team ensuring staff are well trained on marketing strategies and that their efforts are aligned with departmental goals
- Has understanding of all functions of supervised positions, provides staff with the necessary tools to enhance performance and foster further development
- Lead the development and coordination of the annual marketing and promotional plans, ensuring alignment with the casino’s overall objectives through collaboration with the site-specific General Managers
- Evaluation, approval, and oversite of advertising and media purchases / placement, with focus on continuity with marketing goals and effectiveness in reaching target demographics
- Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of marketing efforts and promotions using data analytics and performance metrics to drive improvements
- Coordination and implementation of all direct-to-consumer marketing efforts through both traditional and digital marketing strategies
- Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts, including: SEO (Search Engine Optimization), email campaigns, and use of social media to enhance the casino’s online visibility and guest interaction
- Responsible for the creation and management of the annual Marketing budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources with the ability to report results to leadership
- Provide representation at public relation and community outreach events to foster positive relationships and enhance brand visibility
- Responsible for adherence to all aspects of the HR policy including payroll review / approval, periodic evaluation of staff, and all related paperwork and processes.
- Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
- Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintains confidentiality at all times.
- Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
- Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource & Departmental Policy manuals, Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
- Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
