We are a growing liquor distribution company looking for an administrative assistant/ office manager to join our sales and executive team. Ideal candidate should have office management, administrative and sales experience
Responsibilities will include handling all aspects of office administration as well as assisting with sales, inventorying and shipping of products. This includes making FedEx labels, scheduling FedEx pickups, and updating the company's e-commerce site with new pictures and descriptions of products.
With respect to qualifications the applicant must:
- High school diploma/Some college (preferred)
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and independently problem solve
- Experience handling complex calendaring and scheduling
- Ability to maintain flexibility, demonstrating composure while switching between tasks efficiently in a rapidly-changing environment
- Exceptional people skills—strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Person will be reporting to both owners of the company, and will be trained in all aspects of the job. Finally, the applicant will be required to handle all aspects of the office in terms of supplies, upkeep, and general operation.
Must have dependable work history that can be verified as to reliability and on time work record.
This is a part time position (5 days per week) with potential to grow into full time. Our company is growing and we are looking to hire someone who can grow with us in responsibility and pay. Must have reliable transportation to our facility in Garfield.
