Job Summary:
The Recovery Center Supervisor at Connections Clubhouse Wayne plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations, supervising peer staff, managing volunteer coordination, and ensuring the success of recovery-focused programming. This individual will ensure alignment with agency goals, regulatory requirements, and community needs. The Recovery Center Supervisor will actively support a strengths-based, person-centered approach to wellness and recovery for individuals navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-P required
- Valid New York State Driver’s License required
- Qualified Health Professional (QHP) strongly preferred or willingness to pursue
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or peer services preferred
Skills & Experience:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse individuals and community partners
- Knowledge of the behavioral health system and recovery principles
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient with electronic records and Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable providing in-community support and navigating potential crisis situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and mentorship to Recovery Peer Advocates, including audits, performance evaluations, and team building
- Oversee program operations to ensure monthly goals and performance metrics are achieved
- Track and report program data to the Senior Director and Executive Management on a monthly basis
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of volunteers for Clubhouse programming
- Maintain compliance with documentation and recordkeeping requirements, including volunteer records
- Collaborate with FLACRA’s Marketing and Public Relations team to promote Clubhouse programming
- Maintain knowledge of community needs and agency developments to support program growth
- Coordinate and support community engagement initiatives, including presentations and trainings
- Screen, interview, and onboard new CRPA staff; identify and address training needs for team development
- Manage and maintain program schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and service delivery
- Foster positive relationships with referral sources, local service agencies, and community stakeholders
- Ensure timely follow-up with referral sources and support comprehensive care coordination
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with federal, state, and local regulations
- Promote and model a positive, recovery-focused work environment that reflects FLACRA’s mission and values
- Support the professional development and growth of all assigned staff
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
