What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Assistant position at Flag & Anthem?
We are looking for a motivated Product Development Assistant to join our team! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who loves all parts of the product development process and has experience working closely with design and production. This candidate must have a strong interest in women’s apparel. This role reports into the Women’s Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Women’s Product Manager and design team on development, sourcing and merchandising seasonal lines
- Assists in daily vendor communication with overseas teams
- Works with vendors on sample tracking to maintain calendar deliverables
- Assists PD Manger in sourcing fabrics
- Works with cross functional teams on market preparation including assisting in all linesheet creations, and tagging market samples
- Be the main point of contact for sample and linesheet requests from the Sales teams
- Maintain organization of samples by season
- Help maintain product development charts in Excel
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in product development
- Merchandising experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of all Microsoft programs
- Understanding of NuOrder a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
